Archer is a New Zealand furniture supplier working across hospitality, care, and commercial environments, with a large catalogue and a strong need for visuals that serve both marketing and specification workflows. As the brand began refreshing its websites, the team saw a clear gap: product imagery could show what an item was, but not always how it would feel inside a real project, or how powerfully it could lead a homepage.
This first phase focused on creating hero-ready content that could support that shift. Rather than starting from scratch every time, Renoir used Archer’s existing product files and imagery to build short-form videos and in-situ scenes designed for website refreshes, sales conversations, and tender support. The goal was not to replace their existing render process overnight, but to test a lighter, more expressive visual layer, one that could help the brand communicate more clearly while reducing manual production load.

The challenge:
Website visuals lacked immediate impact: The homepage needed stronger, motion-led content to quickly communicate product range and quality.
Renders were functional but not immersive: Existing outputs showed products clearly, but not how they feel or perform within real environments.
Assets needed to serve both marketing and specification use: Imagery had to work across website, sales presentations, and architect/designer workflows.
Production workflow was manual and time-consuming: Building visuals often required starting from scratch, coordinating files, photos, and external rendering.
The Renoir Solution:
Introduce short-form hero videos for immediate impact: Created 10–15 second homepage-ready videos that showcase multiple products in realistic environments.
Shift from isolated renders to in-situ storytelling: Placed products into hotel, care, and commercial spaces to communicate real-world application.
Build dual-purpose visual assets: Produced imagery that works across website, sales presentations, and tender materials.
Leverage existing source materials for faster production: Used renders, and product images to generate new visuals without restarting from scratch.
Reduce operational load through a streamlined workflow: Enabled faster turnaround without additional shoots, heavy coordination, or increased internal effort.

It’s really exciting. We think this is a start of a long term relationship.

Result:
Hero-ready assets prepared for the website refresh: Short-form videos and in-situ imagery were created to support a stronger, more immersive first impression online.
A clearer visual layer for sales and tender use: The new assets give the team more contextual material for presentations, project conversations, and client-facing decks.
Improved sales support materials: Visuals can be reused in presentations, tenders, and client conversations.
Faster and lighter production workflow: Multiple assets are created without the need for repeated manual setup.
Conclusion:
For Archer, this first phase was less about replacing what already exists, and more about testing what could work better. By turning existing product files into hero-ready videos and contextual imagery, the team gained a clearer sense of how visual content could support website refreshes, sales conversations, and project presentations at the same time. Just as importantly, it showed a path toward producing stronger assets with less manual effort, an important shift for a lean team managing a large catalogue across multiple divisions.
